Bob’s Burgers: Gayle’s 10 Funniest Episodes, Ranked » The Hunger Games: 10 Other Movies To Watch With The Cast Though The Hunger Games started out as a single novel written by Suzanne Collins in 2008, it eventually gained a couple of sequels and was brought to the big screen. While there was a lot to love about the 2012 dystopian adventure including its compelling story and meaningful themes, nothing was praised quite as much as the cast, led by Jennifer Lawrence , who played Katniss Everdeen. Because of this, we thought it was time to look at a few of the other films that feature The Hunger Games lead actors. RELATED: Jennifer Lawrence: Her 5 Best & 5 Worst Roles (According To IMDb) Before we get started, its worth noting that well be focusing only on cast members who appear in the first Hunger Games film. There will be plenty of time in the future to look at the actors in later installments, especially with Lions Gate already working on an adaption of the upcoming prequel novel, The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes . With that covered, its time to head to the movies. here are ten other films in which you can spot the cast of The Hunger Games . 10 Jennifer Lawrence: Silver Linings Playbook (2012) Though you can catch Lawrence in the X-Men series as Mystique, this comedy-drama gives her a lot more screen time—and romance.

Silver Linings Playbook follows a man with bipolar disorder who hopes to win back the affection of his wife after being released from a psychiatric hospital. In order to accomplish this, he ends up making a deal with a young widow who hopes to compete in a dance competition with him. Yes, Lawrence takes on the role of his partner. 9 Josh Hutcherson: Journey To The Center Of The Earth (2008) If you like The Hunger Games adventure, you might want to check out this 2008 fantasy that boasts the same kind of excitement (and features Josh Hutcherson). RELATED: 5 Ways Jennifer Lawrence And Florence Pugh Are Similar (& 5 Ways They’re Different) Journey to the Center of the Earth , loosely based on the Jules Verne novel of the same name, tells the tale of a professor who ends up getting trapped in a cavern, only to fall into a mystical world at the Earths core. Along for the journey is the confident daughter of a volcanologist and his nephew, played by Hutcherson. 8 Liam Hemsworth: Independence Day: Resurgence (2016) The 1996 sci-fi disaster film Independence Day received a sequel in 2016. At the center of it was Liam Hemsworth, who is known for playing Gale in The Hunger Games . Twenty years after the original movie, a satellite engineer finds that a giant mother ship is headed straight toward the earth.

Though countries across the world feel theyve developed their defense technology enough to stay safe, the U.S. president and his team must work even harder after the extraterrestrial enemies bring a few surprises. Hemsworth portrays pilot Jake Morrison, who works within the Earth Space Defense. 7 Woody Harrelson: Now You See Me (2013) Though Woody Harrelson knows how to take on the role of the drunk victor, he also knows how to play that of a middle-aged magician trying to win back his fame. Now You See Me follows a group of magicians who perform bank heists together and shower their audiences with their winnings. An FBI agent and a detective try to track them down. 6 Elizabeth Banks: Pitch Perfect (2012) While Elizabeth Banks is perhaps best known for portraying Effie in The Hunger Games , she is also well-known for playing commentator Gail Abernathy-McKadden in the Pitch Perfect film series. RELATED: The 10 Best Jennifer Lawrence Movies Of The Decade (According To IMDb) The opening musical comedy has college student Beca being forced into college by her professor father despite wanting to pursue a career in music. Once there, however, its not long before Beca tries to come out on top by participating in collegiate a cappella competitions with her new friends.

5 Lenny Kravitz: The Butler (2013) Though Lenny Kravitz has a much larger career as a singer than an actor, The Hunger Games isnt the only movie in which he takes on a supporting role. He also shows up in this historical drama based on the life of Eugene Allen. The Butler tells of a man who ends up watching the major events of the 20th century play out in front of him while working as a butler in the White House. Though Forest Whitaker stars, Lenny Kravitz plays one of the mans co-workers. 4 Stanley Tucci: The Devil Wears Prada (2006) Stanley Tuccis Caesar Flickerman is one of the most fashionable interviewers in all of Panem. In The Devil Wears Prada , he has even keener fashion sense as the art director of Runway magazine. The comedy-drama has recent journalism grad Andy attempting to make it in New York at a prestigious magazine only to soon be stuck under the controlling (and feared) fashion editor Miranda Priestly. 3 Donald Sutherland: Pride & Prejudice (2005) One of Donald Sutherlands many performances came in the 2005 adaption of Jane Austens novel Pride & Prejudice . Though this historical romance is in a totally different genre than The Hunger Games , it, too, features a strong female lead.

Therefore, its getting a shout-out. Pride & Prejudice follows Elizabeth Bennet, who resides in the English countryside with her family. As the oldest, however, she must soon leave them and marry for status. Though Mr. Darcy has a mysterious nature, he cant help but leave Elizabeth intrigued. Rather than playing a villain like in The Hunger Games , Sutherland plays Elizabeths supportive father. 2 Amanda Stenberg: The Hate U Give (2018) Young Rue grew up, and, now, actress Amanda Stenberg is starring in many films of her own. A handful of years after The Hunger Games, she took a role in the movie adaption of the young adult novel Everything, Everything . A year later, she did the same by taking center stage in The Hate U Give . The movie follows a girl named Starr who is forced to balance two lives: one at the wealthy prep school she attends, and another in the poor neighborhood she calls home. After her best friend is killed by a police officer, Starr must figure out how to stand up for the truth. 1 Wes Bentley: Interstellar (2014) In The Hunger Games , Wes Bentley takes on the role of Head Gamemaker Seneca Crane. In the almost-as-epic Interstellar , he plays geographer and astronaut Doyle.

Interstellar sees the earth becoming unlivable as crops grow more scarce and dust storms become more frequent. Because of this, NASA decides to transport the Earths population to a different planet, but, first, they need to figure out where this new home is.
