Responsibilities:
Generate viable new product concepts/ideas which support the business strategy and market position goals of the assigned product line(s) and portfolios
Direct all product management responsibilities throughout a products lifecycle
Identify new product opportunities and validating their market opportunity, developing a business case for each new product concept
Marshall approved product development projects through the definition, development, testing and pre-launch phase, helping to ensure successful product launches
Conduct on-going in-depth research and analysis on each assigned product; maximizing the business goals of each assigned product
Collaborate and direct marketing activities
Identify and coordinate the sunset of declining products
Make contributions to the overall product strategy for the Financial Services Business Unit
Qualifications:
A minimum of five years of product management and/or marketing experience; preferably within the banking or finance industry
Bachelors degree from an accredited college/university or equivalent work experience Masters degree from an accredited college or university preferred
Experience identifying new product opportunities, developing/launching new and existing product lines and success running a product line P&L
Experience managing people
Strong knowledge in product development, product/project lifecycle, market research methods, requirements management, project management and new product development
Product management experience in the document management, business process outsourcing, or financial services industries highly preferred
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
