Bo Nix had plenty to celebrate this year on his birthday — and it had nothing to do with football. The Denver Broncos quarterback and his wife, Izzy Nix, welcomed their first child together on February 25. The couple’s daughter, Riley Belle Nix, arrived on the same day as Bo’s birthday, turning the occasion into a moment the family will never forget. Izzy shared the exciting news on Instagram, posting several heartwarming photos from the hospital as the new parents celebrated their daughter’s arrival. “Riley Belle Nix arrived on her dad’s birthday — 2/25/26 at 4:45 pm, 6 lbs 11 oz,” she wrote. “The best birthday party I’ve ever been to.” She added that the couple felt incredibly grateful and overwhelmed with joy during the first days of welcoming their daughter into the world. RELATED: Inside the Bo Nix Painkiller Rumor That’s Rocking the Internet A Special Moment for the New Family The photos posted by Izzy showed the couple holding their newborn daughter in the hospital shortly after the birth. In one image, Nix proudly wore a “Girl Dad” hat while wrapping his arm around his wife and gazing at their newborn. Another photo captured the Broncos quarterback carrying Riley Belle as the family prepared to leave the hospital, marking the beginning of their new life as parents.

The moment represents a joyful chapter for the couple, who have been together since their college years. A College Romance That Turned Into Marriage Bo and Izzy first met while attending Auburn University. At the time, Izzy was a cheerleader for the Tigers while Nix starred as the team’s quarterback. Their relationship continued as Nix’s football career evolved. After three seasons at Auburn, Nix transferred to University of Oregon for the 2022 season, where he finished his college career. The couple married later that same year in Alabama before eventually relocating as Nix pursued his professional career. Nix’s Rise in the NFL Nix entered the NFL as one of the top quarterback prospects in the country. The Broncos selected him in the first round of the 2024 NFL Draft, and he quickly earned the opportunity to become Denver’s starting quarterback. His early career showed promise as he helped lead the team through a competitive season and into the playoffs.
