Marcia Lynn Campbell, 79, of Franklin, a loving wife, mother, and grandmother, passed away peacefully with her family by her side on Thursday, August 6, 2026, at Oakwood Heights Village.
Born on February 11, 1947, in Grove City, she was the daughter of the late Georgia Romaine Peters and Franklyn A. “Bud” Faivre, of Grove City.
Marcia graduated from Grove City High School in 1965.
On July 27, 1968, Marcia married Rodney Lynn Campbell Sr., who preceded her in death on November 18, 2023, by the Rev. Clair Heitzenrater, in the Grace United Methodist Church.
Marcia and Rodney met while carpooling and attending the New Castle Business College for two years. She graduated in 1967 earning her degree to become an Executive Secretary.
Marcia initially worked as a school secretary. When she became a mother, she dedicated her life to caring for her children. Later, she also spent her days caring for her grandchildren. Marcia was known for her thoughtful cards. She always made sure to send her love on every birthday, anniversary, or event with a personalized card. She loved birdwatching, Raggedy Ann & Andy, snowmen, and reading.
Marcia and her husband, Rodney, were longtime members of Grace United Methodist Church in Oil City.
Surviving are her four children, Julie Ann Danzer, of Franklin, Rodney Lynn Campbell, Jr., of Franklin, Michael Andrew Campbell and his wife, Colleen, of Westport, MA, and Jennifer Lynn Davis and her husband, Brandon, of Oakdale, Pa. Marcia has six grandchildren, Kenzie (Dan Wetzel) Danzer, Danielle (Kylie Morgan) Davis, Nate (Nicole) Danzer, John Campbell, Emily Davis, and Jason Campbell. She was also a soon-to-be great-grandmother.
Also surviving are a sister, Bonnie Faivre Rihel and her husband, Jerry, of Grove City; along with three nieces and one nephew.
Family and friends are invited for a visitation on Monday, Aug. 10, from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. at Morrison Funeral Home. A funeral service for Marcia will take place immediately following the visitation at 3 p.m. with Pastor Denise L. Mains, of Grace United Methodist Church, officiating.
Marcia will be laid to rest with her husband of 55 years in Crestview Memorial Park in Grove City.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff and nurses at Oakwood Heights Village for the loving care they gave Marcia during her stay there.
